Abstract:A miniaturized ultra wideband dual-polarized antenna is designed in this article. To achieve miniaturization, the Vivaldi antenna is designed with fitted curve slots that fit the simulate energy density corrugation, which expand the bandwidth. A metasurface lens is designed without increasing the size, and the gain is improved on the basis of miniaturization. After the designed single polarization Vivaldi antenna is crossed and embedded, a dual-polarized antenna is obtained. The dual-polarized antenna bandwidth is 2. 17 GHz to 13. 70 GHz, and the space volume is only 0. 144 2λ 3 1(λ1 is the lowest frequency wavelength within the band), with a maximum gain of 12. 32 dBi and an isolation degree of more than 30 dB. This antenna can be used in radar reconnaissance systems and other applications requiring high polarization sensitivit. |
