Manuscript flow

Journal of Microwaves adopts double-blind review, and the manuscript flow is as follows.

1. Duplicate check.  "Academic Misconduct Document Detection System (AMLC) for Science and Technology Journals" of China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) is adopted. (https://check.cnki.net/amlc2/Login.aspx). Perform plagiarism detection on the manuscript, with a requirement that the text repetition rate does not exceed 10%.

2. Preliminary review. The editorial department conducts a preliminary review of the articles that have passed the duplicate check, including whether they meet the basic requirements and the scope of reporting.

3. Peer review. Journal of Microwaves designates two experts for external review of each paper. If there is a significant dispute over the expert review comments, the third expert is selected for external review. The responsible editor in chief conducts the final review (modification, acceptance, rejection) based on the review comments. The main criteria for peer review are the innovation and practical value of the paper, including the following five aspects.

(1) Does the paper have academic ethics issues? Is it within the scope of the journal?

(2) What is the significance of choosing a topic for the paper? Is it cutting-edge or hot topic?

(3) Is the research paper innovative enough? Does a review paper have a certain breadth, depth, and foresight?

(4) Are the arguments, experiments, and references in the paper sufficient?

(5) Is the structure, language, and logic of the paper rigorous?

4. Online prioirty publication. After the accepted paper is preliminarily sorted by the author according to the template and edited by the editorial department, it will be launched on CNKI and website of the journal.

5. Formal publication. After the processes of editing, typesetting, proofreading, etc., the printing and publishing are finally completed.
